Step Away
I’m a smoker, and I know it’s not good for me. I am, however, one of the many, many smokers who are aware, and respect the fact that a lot of people do not smoke, and certainly do not like second hand smoke.
I’m at my local coffee shop right now, and stepped out to the street to have a smoke. I noticed there were a couple of people sitting at a table outside, so I made it a point of moving far enough away from them (and downwind) so that my smoke wouldn’t bother them.
If you’re one of the few of us left, please be considerate, and try to do the same.
If there are children around, consider skipping that cig, or move far enough away that you know they won’t have to smell it.
It is just one of those things that can seem like nothing, but a little consideration goes a really long way.
Just cuz.

Wipe It Down
Public bathrooms are notorious for being scary places harboring dirt, grime, and who knows what?
One of my (many) pet peeves is stepping up to the sink, brushing up against it, only to have someone’s leftover puddle of water making a water mark on my shirt. I have started looking before leaping, and wiping down the counter top prior to my washing my hands.
I take it a step further, and I ask you to do the same…
Before leaving the restroom, take a couple of extra paper towels (if they’re available) and wipe down the sink. It doesn’t take that much time, and you’ll be saving the next person from water-spotting their shirt or blouse. Not only that, you’ll leave the room just a little tidier than when you went in.
Do it just cuz…
